CanNeed-CAT-10 Cobb Absorption Tester is designed to evaluate the water absorption rate of paper, thought testing the water absorbance of the materials when subjected to moist condition. It is suitable for sizing paper and water absorption on cardboard surface, not suitable for basis paper and embossed paper with basis weight less than 50g / m2, low sizing degree or more pinholes.It is designed and manufactured according to the national standard of GB/T 1540-2002, “Paper and board-Determination of water absorption-Cobb method”.

Test process:

Cut a fixed area of 100CM²paper with Cobb sampler and transferred to Cobb Absorption Tester for testing. The moisture on the surface was drained with absorbent paper at a specified time. Comparing the weight change before and after the test to evaluate the paper.

2. Mirror surface, reduce the liquid residue, easy to clean.
3. Cobb sampler with anti-pinch hand guard ring.
4. Cobb sampler with power lever arm, easy sampling.
