The "Canneed EBT-100 Buckle Tester for loose ends" determines 
the exact pressure at which the end buckles. 
Any end of varying diameter may be tested: chang parts 
are available that can be exchanged within seconds.
The loose ends is placed in the holder. 
By the ring-like laying-on device the end is being fixed in its circumference. 
Close the door, Depress the "start" button.  
The "EBT-100 Buckle Tester" clamps the end firmly and thightly. 
Fast pressure increase up to 5 bar (programmable to just bellow 
the expected buckle value), from there the "speed of pressure increase" 
may be set within the device. The test is terminated as soon as the end buckles. 
The maximum pressure value is shown in the display.
Thus very constant results may be achieved which are independent 
from a later seam process. In comparison to seamed ends the results 
differ by 0.3 to 0.8 upwards.
